LESSON 1 The post office opens at nine
Chris: James, do you know when the post office opens and closes?
James: It opens at nine in the morning and closes at five in the afternoon.
Chris: I see. The opening time is a bit different from that in my country.
James: Why do you ask?
Chris: I need to send an important letter as soon as possible, but I don't want to miss my geography class at nine o'clock tomorrow morning.

四、 语法要点：Do you know ...? 的用法
当 Do you know ...? 后面接一个句子作宾语（即宾语从句），而这个句子本身又是一个疑问句时，必须把这个疑问句的疑问语序改成陈述语序（主语 + 谓语）。

💡 使用要点：
- 从句要还原成"主语在前、谓语在后"的陈述语序：
where the library is（√）而不是where is the library（×）。- 如果原疑问句用了助动词
do / does / did，要把助动词去掉，并把时态、人称还原到主要动词上：When does it open?→... when it opens。- 引导词用原来的疑问词（what / when / where / who / how 等）；如果原句没有疑问词（一般疑问句），则用
if / whether引导。
